Come, Lord Jesus, Come

Revelation 22: 7  "Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book."

The Lord is coming.  His Word proclaims His plan to return for His Bride.  Do you find yourself looking to the sky, at the clouds, anticipating with joy His return. Praying, "Let it be today my Lord, come today."  What a wonderful prayer from your lips to the Lord's ears, telling him you are ready for Him to come today. Not because things are so hard and difficult for you here on earth, but because you want to be joined with Him to be in His presence forever, to look upon His beautiful face and worship Him.

Or,  do you look away when you see beautiful rays of light coming from beyond a cloud, fearful that it is the Light of the Savior getting ready to burst through in all His Glory.  Telling yourself that people have been saying forever that the Lord was coming back soon.  Don't fall into satan's trap, telling yourself lies, thinking you have lots of time.  No one save the Father knows the day or the hour, but the prophetic words of the end time happenings are revealing themselves on a daily basis.  We don't know the day or the hour, but we do know He is Coming!  And He said it would be soon.  Turn away from your worldly pleasures and accept the Lord now, while there is time to rejoice in His return.

As for me, I am ready for His return. I will not hesitate, I will not look back, I will lift my hands up to Him and begin to worship Him, calling out to Him my love, my praise.  Telling Him of His worthiness, His majesty, His power, His glory, thanking Him for His return, for His saving grace unto me, for the knowledge that unto Him I will be delivered, to live and reign with Him forever.

I look at the clouds daily, and I ask, is it today, my King?  Will you come for me today?  I worship Your Holiness, my Lord.  You are truly a majestic King, the King who came to earth to bring salvation to me, that I might be a child of God.  That I might know the Father through you.  That I am able to have the intimate relationship with my Father, feeling His loving presence around me always.  You, Lord Jesus, made the way for this for me and I will forever worship You.  I forever will be looking for Your return, when I will bow down and worship You, my King.  My glorious King, so worthy of all my praise. So ready for your return my Lord.

I would ask of You daily, Lord, to search me and find anything that is unfitting for your Bride, reveal it to me, so I may repent of it immediately, standing bolding inYou before my Father, asking forgiveness; to stay in that precious presence, never missing a minute of His glory and love.  That I be found to be fitting to be Your Bride.  May Your peace reign in my heart and soul, knowing I am in You in the Father.

So, my Lord and King, today I pray YOU COME QUICKLY, I am ready my Lord.  Are you ready my friends, to join me in the throng of worshipers, singing up to the Lord, "Holy, Holy, Holy are You Lord, we worship and adore You" and crying up to Him, Come, Lord Jesus, Come.

As I am, loving You, my Lord, this 30th day of November, 2010.

How Can I Keep From Worshiping Your Name

I am working on my homework; reading Genesis from your Holy Word, the beautiful Words stop me and I begin to worship you my Lord.  I continue on after a while, worship music playing Holy, Holy, Holy are You Lord, and I can do nothing but weep, raise my hands and worship you My God.  I just cannot stop worshiping.

Homework undone, left to sit a while longer as I sit in the presence of a Holy God whose love surrounds me like a warm flow of sonshine.  I sit and wait for His voice to fill my spirit; soft, loving is His voice, words that are music to my soul; and this glorious music stirs me to worship once again.

My Lord comforts me as I grieve at the fact that His children pass up opportunities to rise and worship Him.  As a beautiful song played, a wonderful chance to rise up and raise their hands to Him and worship our precious Lord; but no, they sat and let one more chance to show Him love and thanks pass by.  Soon times to openly worship Him will be no more, they will have lost this time of fellowship with Him.  I grieved for my precious Lord, as I could feel His heart, left hungry for more worship from His children; not being called down from His Throne Room to visit with them.  As I stood alone worshiping, I grieved for their loss.

And now I sit, lessons pushed aside, not wanting to stop my worship to my Lord.  Nothing more important than my Lord, never wanting to be out of His presence, willing to do whatever it takes to please Him, to bless Him, to glorify Him.  My Father, whose love and grace mean life to me, He gives me a reason for my life.

How can I keep from worshiping Your Name, Father.  I can't stop worshiping You, there is nothing or noone that can keep me from worshiping You.  To be truthful, I don't want to. I live to worship You. Worshiping You is the most important thing in the world, because it keeps me in Your presence.  And that is where I want to stay.

You, my Lord, will be worshiped continually by me this 29th day of November, 2010.

John 14:23 THEY Abide in Me and You

John 14:23 "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words, and My Father will love him; and We will come unto him; and make Our abode with him."

This entire chapter shows the love of the Lord and His concern that we understand that through Him we know the Father, that when He speaks, the Father speaks; He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. And then the beautiful words "We will come unto him (us), and make Our abode with him (us)".  I surely do not want to take words out of context here, but this just jumps off the page.  When we accepted Jesus into our hearts, we accepted the Father.  Jesus left the Comforter with us, and by loving Jesus, He and the Father make their abode with us, joining the Comforter who is there already. There we have the Trinity living within all of us who love Jesus.

Does this not just make you want to shout Hallelujah!!!!!  How can you not want to fall to your knees and worship our King. He left the Comforter with us, and all He asks is that we love HIM, and He makes the way for the Father to dwell in us also.  Jesus washes us with His precious shed blood, to make us spotless so the Father can come with Him to make Their ABODE with us.  Chosing to live with us.  Here, on this earth. Do you grasp the significance of this.  We don't have to wait, we don't have to beg, we just have to love. Love our Jesus. Our precious Lord, who sacrificed everything for us and only asks for our love.
Realizing that Their presence is within us, abiding with us, daily; knowing that there is that precious Trinity dwelling in us.

Now, I am quite realistic.  I know that if we sin, the Father leaves. I believe until we repent that Jesus leaves also. Just the Holy Spirit remains to convict, show us our error, and remain while we seek the Lord's forgiveness.  Once we repent of this sin, forgiveness is given; as our Lord is interceding for us with the Father, seeing our hearts are truly repentant.  Then I believe the Trinity is once again with us, dwelling in our cleansed, repentant heart. Thank you Lord.

Now I do not have a degree in Theology, nor do I claim to have total understanding of what treasures the Bible holds.  All I know that when reading the Bible, the Lord lights up scripture and gives me an explanations I can understand.  I have a very simple faith. It is not to be confused with little faith, I said simple. By simple I mean I believe fully the Word of the Lord. If the Bible says it, I know it is true. There is no doubt where I stand on the Word of God. I love the Lord and love His Word. I trust the Lord and therefore I trust His Word.  He nor His Word ever waver.  It will be the same with me until the day He returns for me or calls me home.

This all said, I am returning to who I am, a worshiper.  You know it is so easy to worship the Lord when you just yield to His spirit, have simple faith to trust Him, believe in Him, believe in His Word.  I guess that makes me a child having simple faith.  And like a child I am happy to be, A CHILD OF GOD, His beloved child, I am a part of HIS BRIDE.

And as your child,  my Lord, I worship you with my whole being, this 28th day of November, 2010.

Psalms 115:1 Not to Us Oh Lord, But To You Alone Belongs Glory

Psalms 115:1  "Not to us, O Lord, not to us, But to Thy Name give glory because of Thy lovingkindness, because of Thy truth".

When the Lord calls us to do somethng for His kingdom, He does not call us to be lifted up for what we do, He always blesses us for doing His will, but all the glory for what we do belongs to Him.  There is not a thing we do ourselves, but through Him only do we accomplish these things.  So why should we think we did a great thing as we have done nothing.  One of the reasons He asks us to reach out and do things in His Name is that He receive the glory and someone realize that He is the power behind the action, that will bring them to salvation, to live in Christ.  It is the power of the Lord that makes the sick get well when we lay hands on them and pray.  It is the Spirit of the Lord that gives voice to our prayers for salvation of sinners.  It is His wisdom that gives utterance to counsel someone in distress and pain.  It is never something we do ourselves, but that which He does through us.  We are a vessel, a willing vessel. It is His revealing truth speaking out in whatever we do. All the glory is the Lords.

I give you honor and glory my Lord for whatever I accomplish in my life, for I know on whom I have believed and who I owe my very breath to.  You only, Oh Lord, have been the Rock on which I can stand uprightly and without blemish.  Your Name has been the one called out in my loneliness, and You came to comfort me and spend time with me.  Your love has been what has sustained me through each and every day.  Your strength is what gives me power to rise in the morning and do my work each day. It is all You, my God.  I give you all the glory.  All the honor.  All my worship and praise.

I will worship the Lord will all of my being, and give Him all the glory for whatever He does through me. I am humbled by Your love and presence my Lord, this 27th day of November, 2010.

Worship Bubbling From WIthin My Heart

Psalms 149:1  "Praise the Lord!  Sing to the Lord a new song."

I was sitting here tonight asking the Lord for direction when His praises began to bubble up inside of my heart and flowing out.  Worship from my heart, a new song, one that began in my heart and took words to song as it came out of my mouth.  When I think about the Lord, and all He has done for me, my heart fills to overflowing with praise and I just have to worship my Father.  All the day, the words of praise to my Lord are stirring in my soul.

My Lord, my heart is yours, I have no closed doors in my heart where you cannot go. Feel free to search my heart O Lord, I want it to be pure and cleansed in the blood of the Lamb.  I want nothing to stain the words and songs of worship that begin there for You. Am I not your beloved child, my God. Then search me and show me anything that is not of You, so I may rid myself of the things unworthy of Your Vessel, the Vessel that I so want to be Your continual Dwelling Place.

When sadness overwhelmes you, when heaviness falls on you like a blanket that you cannot shed, when you are searching for answers and none come, let your mind begin to think upon the Lord.  Let your heart remember His love for you, let your spirit rise within your soul and let worship bubble up, rise out of your mouth and worship the Lord.  You will find with each phrase coming forth, joy will enter your heart, heaviness will become as air that is moved by the wind, and answers will come pouring into your being, the Lord directing His new song back to you as yours rises to Him, He never receives without returning more than was given, as it is His way.

Oh, Father, You are Life, restoring old with new. What is mine that I could only give more to You.

Let my songs of worship and praise continue to bubble up within me and pour out to give You the glory, the honor and worship You are due. My heart is yours, my Lord, this 26th day of November, 2010.

A Reason to Worship

My Father, I thank you for this day, another Thanksgiving Day.  The second one without my husband. My heart grew heavy as the day went by, Lord, just from the thoughts and emotions that go with these type of days. But You, Oh Lord, in your infinite wisdom and grace, drew me into Your Presence as I began to worship You.  As worship went up, your love and grace came down filling me with a fresh, welcome breath of Your glory.  As I began to sing your praises, to worship you with my whole heart, You came Lord.

I remembered the things You had showed me, the ways You had taught me to worship You. To depend upon Your presence to fill every longing with You, everything filled with You. Loneliness gone, heart-ache gone, depression gone. The only thing left - You, my Lord, You.

I thank you this Thanksgiving Day my Lord for the way You have taken care of my life, how You have turned everything around for good, and how You have flooded me with Your Spirit, Your love. I worship you, my King, and sing praises to Your Holy Name.

This is somewhat of a personal note tonight, but I don't apologize for it.  The Lord has shown me that even when we are feeling fragile, small, and defenseless, we need to share those feelings with others. There is a need for open and honest feelings. When you let others into your heart, to see how vulnerable you can be, it opens the door for them to share with you.  Only then can the Lord use others to comfort, pray and encourage you.  The Lord will use them to help restore you to His fullness.  That is why He places us with certain people. People He knows you can trust because He placed them in your life. These people will not ridicule or mock you. They are His people, worshipers like yourself.  A different people.

So let yourself seek the Lord. He will show you His people, the ones He places in your life to be His hands, the ones He wants you to walk with. Most of the Lords disciples went by twos. It was for a purpose. God knew they, as we, would weary on their (our) own, so He put a friend(s) to accompany them (us) on our way to His Eternal Glory.

This is what I have to share, this 25th day of November, 2010.

Worship with Thanksgiving

How often in your worship do you tell the Lord Thank You.  I know we worship and praise our Lord and tell Him how much we love Him. But the words Thank you Lord will take on a completely different tone of worship. Just Thank You Lord, acknowledging what the Father has done for you, how He has taken your worse day and made it not so bad.  How He reduced the high fever on your child when you prayed not knowing what was wrong. How He stretched your finances to the next payday when you thought you would not have enough to last. Thank you Lord, thank you Lord. My God how I thank you for every provision you have made for me.  Thank you Lord for the healing of my family.  Thank you Lord for the love you pour out on me in a continual flow from your throne room, keeping me in Your care, protecting me from harm.  The Lord loves to hear our thanks. It is all He wants.  Psalms 50 tells us that everything already belongs to God.  He doesn't need anything material from us. It is already His. All He asks from us is that we "Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the Most High: and call upon Me in the day  of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me."  Thanks and worship. All He asks. Our God deserves ALL thanks and praise. Worship the Most High God with your thanks.  He will then hear your prayer and deliver you.  Thank you my Lord, this 24th day of November, 2010.

Begin With Thanks and Praises in The Morning

Psalms 92:1-2  "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy Name, O Most High: To show forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night".
Begin your day with thanks unto the Lord, praising Him for His goodness to you. For your nights rest, for the plans you have for the day. If you have a family, thank the Lord for them. Thank Him for your work you have that day.  Ask Him to guide and lead you through the day, keep you and your family from harm.  When evening falls, praise Him for His faithfulness.  He said He would never leave you, He has been there all the day.  If you didn't feel Him there, it does not mean He was gone.  Check your heart, was it always centered on the Lord and His Word.  Did your thoughts stray from the Father's guidance. The Lord never leaves us, it is we that close that connection when we step over the line into an area that may be cloudy.  For to have the Lords presence is the ultimate blessing. But remember, our vessels must be kept unto Him.  Don't despair, the Lord wants to be with you. Repent for your thoughts, or actions, ask Him to forgive you and restore that connection. He is waiting.  Give glorious worship and praise to our Almighty God, precious Lord and Savior. He is waiting. This 23rd day of November, 2010

BEAUTY - IT'S IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

You have always heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, brothers and sisters in Christ, our Beholder is the Lord.  Our Lord is beautiful.  All creation knows this as it reflects in everything we see of creation. As we are made in God's image, yes, you see where I am going with this.  When you next look into the mirror, look at yourself as God sees you, His child. If you do not see a reflection of His beauty, search your heart.  Is it His, purified by the blood of Jesus, your life yielded to His will.  If not, ask the Lord to show you what is there that should not be.  Yield your life to Him, worship the Lord for all the things He has done for you.  Give Him worship and praise each day, love on the Lord as He loves on you each day.  Then return to your mirror, take another look.  If you have truly given yourselves to Him, opened your heart for His Word, looked on Him as your everything, loving Him with everything that is in you, you will be surprised and delighted at what you see in the mirror.  You should see Him looking back at you with eyes of adoration on His beautiful child.  Thank you Father, for this 22nd day of November, 2010.

Worship, It's Not Just For Church

Worshiping the Lord is not something that is reserved for Sunday at church.  The most joyous words to the Lords ears are your words of worship on Monday, Tuesday, well, you get what I mean. Beginning the morning with words of worship for our Lord can set the tone for your entire day.  Opening your eyes, stretching your arms up to the Lord, with a "Good morning Father, how I adore you. Thank you Lord for the sweet sleep you gave me. Thank you for rising me up this morning. You are worthy to be praised this day my Lord."  Those few phrases our of your mouth, coming from your heart will alert the Lord that you, His child, wanted Him to know first thing that morning that you love Him, that you desire His company throughout that day.  You will be amazed how your heart is lighter, your smile is brighter and your outlook on the day will be different from the one before. Start your day, every day with a word of love and thanks for the Lord.  He will be delighted in you and you will reap His reward with a totally blessed day.  Blessings to you this 21st day of November, 2010.

Who Am I

I am just a child of God, designed by the Lord to worship Him. It is not a matter of what I do, it is a matter of who I am. I am a worshipper of the Lord.  Why would you not want to worship a God who loved you before you were born, sent His Son to earth to secure your salvation by His own sacrifice and rose again, seated at the right Hand of the Father, giving you access to the Father.  There is never a day that I will not worship my Lord.  Blessings to you all, this 20th day of October, 2010.
