Isaiah 6:7 "With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."
These words are on a worship track that I have been listening to in the car. I saw the Lord, seated on His throne, He was clothed in glory, exalted high; the train of His robe filled the temple, and the angels circled round him and cried "You are Holy, O so Holy, You are Holy Lord of all". The words of this song touched me deeply today as I heard "Woe is me, for I'm unclean, for my eyes have seen the Holy King", and then they sang "And he cleansed my lips right before Gods eyes, the pillars shook as the angels cried, "Holy is the Lamb".
He cleansed my lips. Have you thought of when you would see the Lord? I thought of this today, and when my voice went to speak to my Lord, I could not as I thought of all the things in my life I had said that were not of my Lord; that were so unworthy of who He made me to be. Things are different now, but when I think of the things that have come from my mouth, I knew I had to write this, to perhaps help someone else that still is praising in one voice and saying things unworthy of a child of God with another. We cannot be divided in our speech, in our thoughts. You have heard the verse, "for out of the heart the mouth speaks". I shudder to think that this is true when I have heard some things come from people I know from church. I don't always think they even realize it. This is one of the reasons I have had to not continue to read some of the authors I use to enjoy, or to watch some of the TV programs that I use to think were good. It was a true revelation the night I was reading one of the authors, whose books I would wait to be published, and I realized that the language had really gotten bad, and the "intimate scenes" had nothing left for the imagination. Some movies I would wait to play at the theatre began to make me so uncomfortable. The Holy Spirit began to deal with me concerning them. You know, it all looks different when you realize that you are not alone, ever. If you ask the Holy Spirit to be with you, to lead and guide you, where do you think He is while you are in the movies, watching TV or reading books. He is right there with you. When I realized that even thought I could skip over the words, turn a couple of pages past those scenes, I could not shut my ears or close my eyes always when watching those shows I thought I enjoyed. All of a sudden, they were shows that I could not believe I had forced upon the Holy Spirit. He will be with you and begin to deal with you concerning them, to show you that these are not the things of the Lord. Those sitcoms that everyone thinks is so funny, but that most of the material is very off-color.....do you think the Lord is enjoying them, or enjoying seeing you laugh at them? If you do not heed the voice of the Holy Spirit, he will leave and not return until He doesn't have to be subjected to them anymore. I cannot tell you how few TV shows I watch anymore, and movies....I usually ask about them before I will go see them. Sometimes I am just told, "you won't like it". Of course then, I wonder why did they?
The Holy Spirit cleansed my lips, cleansed my heart so that when I see my Lord, my King, my Savior that I so long to tell of my love, my adoration for Him. I don't think I could do that if my mind, my thoughts and probably my voice were full of those things that are not of God. Lips that praise the Lord should never be used for words that are not Godly. Hearts that love the Lord should never be clouded with images and words that are not something you could tell the Lord. I just had to clean up my act....I do not mean to put a "trip" on anyone. This is something the Holy Spirit dealt with me about and it is an individual thing. Unless He is speaking to you on these things, then this message is not for you. But I know there are those that have been torn about the things that they have been watching, reading, seeing and wondering how the Lord feels about it. This is for those of you that need that word from the Lord. If it bothers you, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, if you feel like your lips are unclean from it.....cease to watch, to read those things. Don't let anyone put you on a guilt trip about not wanting to watch those things, or read them....never let man make you feel like there is something wrong with you wanting to please the Lord, wanting to make sure that you do not bring the Lord into places that you would not openly invite Him. Remember, He never leaves, He goes with you as long as He is invited. So often we don't even realize what we have done. If this is you, ask the Holy Spirit to cleanse your lips so when you worship and speak to the Lord, when you ask Him to be with you, then it is in the sanctuary of His making, not the world's.
Thank You, my Lord, for giving me Your Holy Spirit to lead me and guide me in the ways You want me to go, the ways You want me to live, to be a witness of Your Glory and Your mercy. Your forgiveness, Your sweet grace on my life is giving me such joy. There is nothing more important to me but worshiping You, my Lord; nothing more urgent than giving You the honor, the adoration that belongs only to You. I will bless You at all times, morning, noon and night....with cleansed lips, singing out words that will be pleasing to You, my God.

THIS GAME IS BEING INTERRUPTED FOR A WORD FROM YOUR CREATOR
1 Corinthians 9:24 "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize."
This is the day that so many people are sitting in front of the TV set, if they were not able to get to the game itself, and they are watching the Super Bowl. The game that is the end result of months of training, months of playing the games, week in, week out, and it all comes down to the best of the best of two leagues, playing for the big prize. And if this was not enough to draw you to the TV, some people actually watch to see the multi-million dollar commercials from everything from beer to cars, insurance to whatever one wanted to spend that kind of money to advertise. What do you think the response would be if, for one minute, everything went black on TV and the Voice of God spoke softly, "This game is being interrupted for a word from your Creator". I truly believe no one would leave their seats. Such an ideal time, so many watching, intent on seeing everything there is to see.
This game is being interrupted for a word from your Creator. The Lord wants to get the attention of everyone of His children. He tries in so many different ways, from a soft word in your spirit, to having the Holy Spirit disrupt your sleep to draw you into His presence, to having a friend speak a word of knowledge to you. Have you noticed recently that you have a lack in yourself, like there is something missing? You know you need something but it is hard to figure out? What have you done about it. Have you just thought about it and gone about your business? Or have you opened the Word of God, began to search the scriptures to see if the Lord will reveal to you His message, you know there is a message for you; have you looked? Have you gone to church, listened only halfway to the sermon as you were busy thinking of what to fix for dinner, how you would spend your afteroon, the chores you needed to get done, and left church knowing that something is missing, was something said....and you cannot recall what it was?
Words spoken but heard not. The message given and not received as the direct channel to your spirit was closed by your mind. And now you wonder whether it was important.....you wonder.
Today, just a short interruption. Life can sometimes be interrupted by circumstances that prevent us from completing our game. As football is played, so intense, so fiercely, it is still a game. A dangerous game at times, but still a game. Everyday life is no game. We all run a race, the final goal one that has a great reward. We have been trained well for this race. We have been given the Word of God to prepare ourselves for this race, for the battle of daily life. We are given opportunity by the Lord to come before Him with singing and worship, loving Him with our whole hearts. This preparation is one that will see us through to the next battle. If we begin our race with thanksgiving and praise to the God that loves us and is encouraging us in the race, then we know we are blessed by our Creator. We know that He is going to see to it that we get to the next part of the race in His perfect time, in body and spirit, being kept unto Him; and with the preparation made for the next leg of the race. Just by thanking our Lord and worshiping HIm. Do you see that the Lord desires our praise, our thanksgiving, our appreciation of what He does for us? He loves us so much and He so desires that love returned to Him. When you love someone so much don't you love it when they return your love? The Lord wants to bless us so much, to give us everything good....He is waiting for you to acknowledge His love with your own.
This race we run, it is run daily. The prize we seek, I pray that all seek this prize, is the sweet, precious relationship with our Creator. Life eternal with Him. I will never stop doing all I can to have that beautiful relationship with Him, knowing that at anytime day or night when I call, He is here. I can feel His presence whenever I just say His Name.....Jesus. He is never far from those who love Him, and spend time preparing for the race worshiping and thanking Him, loving Him.
But back to the interrupted game.....The Lord wants to let you know that He is still on His throne, He has not forgotten you for a second, and He is planning the next leg of your race. He would like you to prepare yourselves for this part by turning to His Word and reading those life giving Words. He wants you to train yourselves by prayer, by building up your faith in Him, by trusting Him. His Word is true, His Plan is for our good. He loves us and wants to bless us, in all we do, if we do it in Him. See, that is the part, if we do things in Him, in His Name, we will be blessed. If we follow the game plan that He set out for us, our game, our race will result in victory. It is our race, but it is always His Game. We must remember, we are playing His Game always. It is about our Lord, our Creator, not us. We are here to bring Him glory, to bring Him joy. He gives back to us, just because of His great love for us all. The Lord loves me....He loves you....
And now back to the game.... your race continues.

COUNTERFEIT SHIELD
1 Samuel 17:38-39 "Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head. David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not use to them."
I have been reading and studying the story of David, from shepherd to king. As I read, Saul gave to David his own tunic and protective gear before David went out to fight Goliath. Saul thought he could cover David in his protective gear and it would take care of him. Have we been guilty of these things. In our own protective thoughts, our own love for friends, family, haven't be tried to put our protection over them. But we can only do so much. Our faith reaches to the heavens, our prayers send thosands to flight, but our covering can only go so far. Our friends and loved ones must develop their own covering also. A covering of God's grace that fits them, that they are use to walking in. Each of us must walk in the Lord for ourselves. I covet all the prayers that friends and family lift to the Lord for me. Those prayers sustain me so many times when I am weak, when I find my feet slipping; we need to pray for each other, to constantly lift each other up to the Lord, but it is the Lord's cover that is what we all need for ourselves.
Each of us need our own experience of faith, our own knowledge of the faithfulness of God to get us through our trials, our temptations. There will come times in our lives when we may not be able to ask someone to pray for us, to cover us in their prayers. Things will come against us in an instant and there will be no one there but us and our Lord. We need to be able to access the throne room with our prayers; drawing upon our own shield of faith, that helmet of salvation that fits us, belongs to us; the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God that we have read for ourselves, that is life to us, those precious Words that are written deep in our heart; and we need to pray in the Spirit ourselves, those prayers of intercession for ourself at that particular moment, bringing down the covering of mercy and grace from the Father with the whispers from our lips.
If we walk through this life counting always on the prayers of others, it will become a counterfeit shield, one that is difficult to walk in. The faith of others will not bring you through the darkest nights of agony when you are alone, heartache bringing you down, pain keeping you from resting; when it is you, alone, and you need to reach the Lord, when you need to know He will answer your prayer, when you need to feel His healing touch, His comforting arms, it is your faith and your faith alone that will bring you to trust God. Faith of others is a wonderful example, and will show you what faith can do, but it will not give you that deep, abiding trust in God like your faith in Him will. Only your faith in God will give you that shield of peace that He alone gives.
Read the Word of God for yourselves. Experience the joy of seeing the Lord move through your own prayers of faith. Faith of substance is the kind of faith that stands strong when all seems lost but you know that God is faithful and you will not give in to the worlds standard for things, but will hold fast to the standard of the kingdom of God. Only your own faith in God will give you a sure footing, a solid foundation on which to stand.
See that you arm yourself in righteous armor that comes to you from our Lord, only from Him. Look to others only for examples of the faithfulness of our God, but know for yourself, that never ending love and mercy that will sustain you through any battle, any heartache, any illness; build your shield of faith around what the Lord has done for you. He gives so much grace and mercy to us all, we all have experienced the Hand of God in our lives, we have our own personal knowledge of our Lord on which to develop our faith and trust in Him. Wear that beautiful shield made to fit just you. The Lord has designed each of us so special, so individually, we each have that perfected shield that fits only us.
Lord, I thank you that I am shielded by my own faith in You, my complete trust in You. You have never let me down, Lord and I know I am standing on the Rock, on the Word that You have given. And my sweet Lord, You never lie.....I trust in You alone. Always trusting in You.
I worship You, my King.

CELEBRATING JESUS
Psalm 13:2 "Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore."
Today was my assistant's birthday. When we were leaving work, I asked if she and her husband had plans and she said no, since she had to work tomorrow. I asked if her mother had baked her a birthday cake and she said, "she made me one last Saturday". She told me that there was a party to put away the Nativity and her mom always baked Baby Jesus a cake, so she made her one also. She said she always has her birthday party with the party for Jesus. I thought this was wonderful. Can you imagine sharing a party for your birthday with Jesus. From what she told me, in Mexico there is traditional ways to bring out the Natavity and set it up. There is a party and a birthday cake for Jesus. And the same is done when the Nativity is put away at the end of January, beginning of February. And as I am writing this down, the Lord is leading me deeper into this sharing the birthday party with Jesus.
The Lord is showing me that it would mark a beautiful occasion if each year, a celebration was held for Jesus on the day in which you were born again, and if you cannot remember the day, just once a year, on a day that could be marked as very special. When the Lord comes into your life and cleanses you from all sin, breaths that renewed aroma of life into you, it is a day to celebrate Jesus. Celebrate the One who has given all to give you all. It is probably the second most important day in your life. Second only to the day you were born, but then I believe the second birth is the most important one. The first birth is precious, but there is sin to come, the second birth is a freeing, exhilarating birth as the sin has been overcome. A true cause for celebrating Jesus, He is your Savior, your Redeemer, the Giver of new life. This day could be on the day we celebrate Jesus' birthday, December 25th, but it is not the date that will be important, but the celebration.
Birthday celebrations should be a happy affair, so joyful to all those in attendance as life is celebrated. What life is more important that one that has come to the Lord, in true repentance and love for the One who has saved Him. Life without the Lord can be a life of despondancy, one of little hope, but a life with the Lord, a life in the Lord is a life of all good things to come; a life of possibilities, a life that is eternal in our Lord. The day that we were born again, this day that changes you from a hopeless situation to a life filled with peace and joy, this day is one that should be remembered and celebrated. Thank You, Lord.
This year, remember your "second birthday" and celebrate Jesus. I know that there was a huge celebration the day that I gave my life to the Lord. The Word tells us that when a sinner is saved, when they come to the Lord, there is a big celebration in heaven. Rejoicing, rejoicing. I believe if tears on in heaven, it will be on this day, and they will be tears of joy, sweet tears of joy.
If everyone takes a day, be it their birthday, or the day they were "born again" or even on Jesus' birthday, if they will take the day, bake a cake, have a party and celebrate Jesus, we could probably be celebrating Jesus every day of the year. Just as we should be doing; celebrating Jesus.....every day of the year....everyone....celebrating.....Jesus....

OF WHAT WILL I FEAR?
Hebrews 13:6 "So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
There has been such a joy in the peace that I have found in my Lord. I can remember just a year or so ago that simply driving down the interstate in the traffic would have my hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly that my hands would become numb. I would arrange my driving time around rush hours so I would not have to put myself in heavy traffic. Now I get on the interstae to drive home, some nights the traffic is so heavy and I am driving at night......piece of cake. Most times, I am in another world just worshiping the Lord, or just visiting with Him, talking over my day, or simply just listening to His heart beat as I feel so near Him.
Work can be, as probably yours is also, very stressful, very difficult at times. Goals not met, more work piled on, reports to do, so much and then so much more. I sometimes feel the old tendencies arise wanting to let myself fall into stress, fear, doubt. The enemy will use every little thing that comes in our day to draw us into a situation where we began to slip into old habits....but God. My Magnificent Father, how prccious You are to me. Your sweet Holy Spirit knows just when I need that hand, that touch, that draws me back, that soft word that reminds me of who I am, of Whom I belong, of Who my Father is, Who my provider is. Today, Lord, as I listened to my boss, as I listened to what type of conversation we were going to have next week; like the enemy was going to give me something to fear, something to lose sleep over; I just listened and knew that all I could do was my best, and give myself to the Lord for His peace over it all. It is a job, my God is my life.
It is all about my Lord. I am only a part in the whole scheme of things, and my part is to glorify Him. If I do anything in my life at all, anything that will amount to significance, it will be that I lived my life to glorify the Lord. I want to give glory to the One who has given so much to me, for me. He gave His life, I give mine back to Him. When I think of His sacrifice; when I think of how He has waited for my to come to this time in my life, a time that should have been from the beginning of when I came to Him so much younger; how He has waited for me to come full circle back to Him, loving me, never letting me go, protecting me, forgiving me, freeing me; there are no words for how much I love my Lord. I love You seems so inadequate at times, and yet I know He loves to hear those words, I tell Him so many times a day and when my own thoughts would think He would tire of hearing it, my heart, my spirit tell me that He never tires of hearing those heartfelt words; He never stops loving my worship and praise to Him, He loves me, He loves me.
There is nothing that this earth can do to stop my loving, my worshiping my Lord. No man, no woman, nothing can cause my praise to cease. I will praise, I will worship, I will witness, I will live my life like a beacon of His Light, showing and telling others of His great mercy, His grace and His love. I have to do this, I cannot do anything other than worship Him. Do you have that urgency in your spirit, that need, I guess you could say, almost an addiction to worship the Lord. I am addicted to my Lord God. I need Him every hour, every minute of every day. I do not want to take a breath if I cannot know He is mine, that He loves me, that I belong to Him. O my Lord God, You know my heart, You know how much I adore You.
Pure peace is mine
Pure peace I've found
No man will I fear
For my Lord is near.
If this is not the blessed life
I do not want to know
For this is the desire of my heart
To be with the Lord.
Pure peace is mine
Holy Spirit keep me near
The presence of my Father
In His arms, so precious, so dear.

MINDLY SPIRITUAL
Acts 2:28 "You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence."
I was thinking this morning as I was worshiping along with the beautiful music playing in the car, about how all the saints and angels are continuously worshiping around the throne of the Lord. One day, I thought, one day, I too will be there worshiping my Lord, in person, right there with that heavenly choir of hosts, perfectly pitched, harmonies richly blending together, making the most perfect praises and worship to the King of kings, our Lord God. As I thought about this, I just knew that there would be time during the day, and I like to think, each day, for some one on one time with the Lord. Just Him and me, His worshiper, His child that loves Him so much. I just want to be able to be by Him, to walk and talk, to sing my songs to Him alone and to have Him sing to me, just a time for us to commune together, the two of us. Just as these thoughts began to bring a big smile to my face, the Lord told me, "you can begin now for that one on one time with me, you do not have to wait".
So often we think of what we will do and what we will say to the Lord, how we will worship and praise with the worshipers there, how we will tell HIm of our love, how we will sit at His feet and sing our songs of love to Him. But we don't have to wait.
For years, if you are like I am, you have let your mind take you places in daydreams and wishes. So how is it that when your spirit being guided by the Holy Spirit wants to take you into the presence of the Lord, your mind throws up a roadblock and says "this is not possible". Why is it that what should come so natural, becomes impossible when you allow your mind to wrap around it? Let your spirit man overcome the obstacles of the mind. When the Holy Spirit invites you to "Come", then close your mind to all outside interferences and "go" with the Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit take you into that place, into that "garden paradise" where you can walk with the Lord and talk with Him; where you can sing unto Him the songs that are bursting inside of you to flow up to Him. Don't let your mind keep you from enjoying the presence of the Lord. So often the things that are the easiest to do have nothing to do with the natural, it is spiritual. Your spirit can and will become a place of refuge if you will let the Holy Spirit have complete control.
I love letting my spirit flow with the Holy Spirit when He calls me to "come". Yes, I can see a few of you smiling, thinking that I am a foolish woman, maybe a little daft in my old age, but let me assure you there is nothing that will keep me from the presence of my Lord. For those of you that prefer to keep you feet on the ground, so to speak, will never know the beauty of walking in a garden that is in full bloom of every flower that the Lord has made, colors unlike anything we have ever seen. You will never know the sweet fragrance of the Saviors' love, or the press of His hand as He walks with you. You will never know the melodious Voice that sings duet with you as you sing your songs to Him. You will never know what true joy, uncontainable joy is. I would ask of you, what have you got to lose, a little pride perhaps? Let yourself be deemed foolish, if that is what you think this is; become a little foolish and let the Holy Spirit take you to a place that only you have read about, perhaps dreamed of going when you reach heaven. It is attainable now. That sweet presence of the Lord where you can sit down at His feet, feel His hand upon your shoulder, hear His voice tell you how much He loves you, how pleased and touched He is by your love and worship. Close your eyes, shut your mind, open your spirit and ask the Lord's forgiveness for your doubting spirit, your closed mind. Then ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to that place where you can have your one on one with the Most High God, our Lord.
Father, thank You for bringing me to that place where time after time I can share one on one time with my Lord. Thank You that my mind is never stronger than what You will for me. I surrender my mind to Your Spirit to take and input what You will that I know, that I do. I love You so. I love my time with You, my special time alone, with You.

I GIVE YOU THANKS, O LORD, MY GOD
Psalm 50:14 "Let the giving of thanks be your sacrifice to God, and give the Almighty all that you promised."
Father, tonight as I drove home, all I could do was thank You for Your goodness to me this day. Had it not been for Your touch on me as the day wore on, the hour growing later, I would have not been able to stand. Weariness began to set in and still there were more people. It seemed as one would get out of a chair another would fill that place. It was such a good thing, but even good things can make you tired. But You, O Lord, You never left my side, helping me keep that freshness so each person could feel that peace and joy, those words that would make each feel special. There was only one moment that I felt some irritation beginning to rise, and then I realized that this one also, was probably more tired than I, and Your sweetness returned through me. Give her what she needed this night Lord, give her sweet rest in You.
There is never a time that You, my Lord, should not receive thanksgiving from Your children. What have we to give You, Father, if not thanks from our hearts; thanks for the very blessed lives we have in You. When I see Christians complaining about their lifes, I know it grieves You, Lord. Forgive them, Lord, forgive me, also, as I know I am guilty of this at times. I have no business in that place. Forgive me, my Lord. You have given me so much to be thankful for. I know I have nothing to give You other than my love, my adoration, and my worship. I will always worship You my Lord. Giving glory to Your Name gives me such joy. The beauty of Your holiness is all I seek. I love You so much. Thanksgiving for the blessings of my day, each day, poured out from Your throne room to me, should be rising right back to You. Sweet Holy Spirit, always keep me mindful of the beautiful blessings that flow to me constantly. Let me never take for granted the kindness and love of my Lord.
O Lord, to You, I will always be grateful. I will praise You with all that is in me, for You are so good to me. Your mercy reaches down to me, new each day, restoring that part of me that has bottomed out in weariness, in pain, and in sin. Cleanse me Lord, for as hard as I try, I know I fall short in my daily activities. I need You, Lord, I need You. Let me cling to You Lord, each day, as I know no other way to go, but with You. Let me live in Your sweet presence each moment; cleanse me, Holy Spirit, with the precious blood of Jesus so I may never be turned away from my Lord's presence. This is my desire.
My Lord, for all You are, for everything You have become to me, for Your precious love for me, I give You thanks, O Lord, my God!
